Il lavoro è focalizzato sulla Poetica del tempo e della memoria, in questo caso la memoria della natura.
In quest'opera la Natura viene esaltata come principio delle cose, intelligenza esistente molto prima dell'uomo e grazie alla quale quest'ultimo esiste. Con il suo continuo rigenerarsi, la natura  regola, controlla e ricorda. E a testimonianza di ciò l'utilizzo della fotografia, nata appunto per testimoniare la realtà.
Le foglie, sensori dell’albero, un attimo prima di staccarsi hanno registrato l’ultima immagine “vista”,sono i testimoni di ciò che accade nei pressi della pianta.
La fotografia argentica è una memoria della luce, memoria che si genera autonomamente rispetto all’intervento dell’uomo. E come la fotografia è una memoria della luce, così l'immagine sulla foglia è la memoria di ciò che la foglia ha visto prima di cadere, come fosse un negativo su cui rimangono impressi fatti, persone e situazioni.
 

 

 

Memoria Naturae is a work based on the poetry of time and memory, in this case the memory of the nature. In this work Nature is celebrated as the beginning and origin of things, an intelligence that exists long before man and thanks to which man exists. Nature with its continuous regeneration, regulates, controls and remembers. And as proof of this the use of photography, just born to witness reality.
The leaves, tree's sensors, record the last image they have seen until a moment before detaching from the tree, as if they were a lm on which facts, people and situations remain impressed. The image on the leave draws back to the core of analogue photography: the photographic process is governed by natural laws, therefore silver salts record the images through the light that impresses them. As photography is
the memory of light, so the picture on the leaf is the memory of what the leaf saw before falling down.
